Black Marriage Day began with the passion to spread a positive message of marriage in the African American Community that marriage is good, beneficial and rewarding, though many in the black community have not seen a healthy marriage modeled. Good marriages are not extinct, and strong Black marriages need to be highlighted throughout our community!

Together we will share highs and lows, laughter and tears, wisdom and silliness, but more importantly, we will discover the joy in just being together.
